Short answer: SportyBet's official Ghana website is sportybet.com/gh, and its support email is ghana.support@sportybet.com (listed on the official site). SportyBet is licensed by the Gaming Commission of Ghana for sports betting and online casino in 2026. SportyBet does not publish a head office address on its website, so treat anyone offering to "meet at the SportyBet office" to fix your account, sell you "VIP" access or recover a win with suspicion.
The official SportyBet Ghana website
The real site is https://www.sportybet.com/gh/. Typing "sportybet.com.gh" or searching "www.sportybet.com" usually lands you on the same official site, but fake copies use look-alike names and paid search ads. Before you log in or deposit:
- Check the address bar says sportybet.com/gh, nothing added before or after "sportybet".
- Bookmark the real site and use the bookmark or the official app, not links from WhatsApp, Telegram or adverts.
- Never enter your MoMo PIN on a website. Deposits through SportyBet go through your mobile money provider's own prompt.
Is SportyBet licensed in Ghana?
Yes. SportyBet appears on the Gaming Commission of Ghana's list of licensed operators for sports betting and online casino, with licences issued for 1 January to 31 December 2026. You can check any betting company's licence on TrustCheck, which links to the Gaming Commission's own list. A licence means the company is allowed to operate; it does not guarantee you will win or that every agent using the SportyBet name is genuine.
Where is the SportyBet office?
SportyBet's website does not list a public head office address, and business directories give different locations in Accra. That gap is what scammers use: fake "SportyBet office" pages and agents claim they can unlock accounts, reverse withdrawals or sell guaranteed games for a fee. SportyBet's own support channels are the safe way to sort out an account problem:
- Email: ghana.support@sportybet.com
- Live chat and help pages: on sportybet.com/gh and in the official app
- Social media: SportyBet's verified accounts. In 2023 SportyBet's official X account gave 0540134222 and 0596921899 as support numbers; check the current numbers on the official website before you call.
Before you call or pay anyone claiming to be SportyBet, check the number on TrustCheck for scam reports.
Common SportyBet-related scams in Ghana
- "Sure odds" and fixed-match sellers who use the SportyBet name and ask for payment first. Read how fixed-match scams work.
- Fake customer care on WhatsApp or Facebook asking for your password, a code sent to your phone, or a "verification fee". See how to find real customer care numbers.
- Booking-code sellers who promise a guaranteed win if you pay for their code.
- Account recovery "agents" who charge to unlock or reverse your account.
Lost money to one of these? Report the number on TrustCheck so others are warned, and read what Ghanaians say about SportyBet.
Betting safely
Only stake what you can afford to lose, set limits in your account, and remember that no one can guarantee a win. If betting is causing you problems, talk to someone you trust and use the responsible gaming tools in your SportyBet account.
