TrustCheck Club (trustcheck.club): How to Cancel, Get a Refund, and Why It Is Not TrustCheck

TrustCheck Club (trustcheck.club): How to Cancel, Get a Refund, and Why It Is Not TrustCheck

Short answer: trustcheck.club is not TrustCheck. We are TrustCheck (trustcheckapp.com), a free review and scam-check site for Ghana. We have no connection to trustcheck.club, we never charge subscriptions, and we cannot see, cancel or refund trustcheck.club accounts. If trustcheck.club charged you: cancel, ask your bank to stop and dispute the charges, and ignore anyone offering a "refund".

How to cancel a TrustCheck Club subscription

  1. Find the charge. On your card, bank or PayPal statement, note the exact merchant name, every amount and the dates.
  2. Cancel on their website, if you can. The TrustCheck Club login and account pages are on trustcheck.club, not here. Look for a subscription or account page, cancel, and screenshot the confirmation. Many customers report there is no working cancel option, so do not stop here.
  3. Call your bank or card issuer. Ask them to block all future payments to that merchant. If they cannot block one merchant, ask for a replacement card: that stops the charges for good.
  4. Paid with PayPal? Cancel the automatic payment in your PayPal settings.

Emailing trustcheck.club to unsubscribe is worth a try, but people report that support does not answer. Your bank is the reliable way to stop the charges.

How to get your money back

The most reliable way is a dispute (chargeback) through your bank, card issuer or PayPal. Do it quickly: card disputes have time limits. Gather your statement lines, any receipts or emails, and screenshots of the price you were shown. Then you can say:

"I paid a one-off amount to trustcheck.club and was then charged recurring amounts I did not agree to. I could not cancel on their website and they did not respond. I am disputing these charges as unauthorised recurring payments."

On PayPal, open a dispute in the Resolution Centre and choose an unauthorised payment reason. See also how to get a chargeback in the US, UK and Australia.

Is trustcheck.club a scam?

Be very careful with it. When we checked in October 2026:

  • ScamAdviser rated trustcheck.club "very likely unsafe" and noted the owner's identity is hidden.
  • WOT (Web of Trust) listed it as untrusted.
  • Its reviews averaged about 2 out of 5 on Trustpilot (around 83 reviews) and Sitejabber (97 reviews).
  • The most common complaint: a $1 "trial" or one-off phone lookup turns into repeated charges of about $20, sometimes weekly, with no clear way to cancel and support that does not answer.

These are reports from customers and scam checkers, not findings from a regulator. The same "small trial, then a subscription" pattern shows up on other lookup sites, so read the price terms in full before entering a card anywhere. More on this: $1 trial subscription traps.

Fake "TrustCheck support" refund calls

People who were overcharged are often targeted again. Scammers email, call or WhatsApp pretending to be "TrustCheck support", offer to cancel the subscription or refund you, then ask for your card number, a one-time code or remote access to your computer, or say they "refunded too much" and ask you to send the difference.

TrustCheck (trustcheckapp.com) will never contact you about a subscription or refund, never ask for card details or codes, and never ask you to install anything. Only your bank or PayPal can safely reverse a card payment.

  • Hang up or stop replying.
  • Call your bank on the number printed on your card.
  • If you gave someone remote access, disconnect from the internet, remove the app, and change your banking passwords from a different device.

Report it

  • United States: the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
  • United Kingdom: Action Fraud (actionfraud.police.uk).
  • Australia: Scamwatch (scamwatch.gov.au).
  • Elsewhere: your country's consumer protection agency.
  • Report the website to Google Safe Browsing (safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/), which helps warn other people before they pay.

If someone contacted you claiming to be TrustCheck, report their number and tell us through our contact page.
