Short answer: PURC kept electricity and water tariffs unchanged for October to December 2026. The next quarterly review, for January to March 2027, is usually announced in December. Meanwhile, watch for fake ECG staff who demand cash to avoid disconnection or to "fix" your meter.

Electricity tariffs in 2026
- January 2026: electricity up 9.86% (water up 15.92%) under PURC's 2026 to 2030 tariff review.
- April 2026: electricity down 4.81%.
- July 2026: electricity up 3.49%.

- Never pay a staff member's personal number.
- Check any number claiming to be ECG on TrustCheck. See fake customer care numbers.
