AI Training Platforms That Accept Ghana: Mercor, micro1, Alignerr, Toloka and More

Short answer: Mercor lists Ghana as a supported country on its own help pages. micro1 and Alignerr are reported to block only a short list of countries, and Ghana is not reported among them. Toloka has a large number of contributors in Ghana. Outlier, DataAnnotation.tech and Handshake AI are reported not to take Ghana. All of them are free to join: anyone charging you a fee is not the platform.

How do you choose?

  • Experts (health, law, finance, engineering, teaching, writing): start with Mercor, micro1 and Alignerr, which pay more for real expertise.
  • Beginners: smaller task platforms such as Toloka are easier to start on, but pay less.
  • Do not rely on one platform. Projects end and platforms change their country lists. Remotasks dropped Kenya and Nigeria in 2024.

How do you avoid scams?

Then plan how you will get paid: how to receive AI-job pay in Ghana.

Where these facts come from (checked 31 October 2026): Mercor: supported countries for payment; Rest of World: Remotasks drops whole countries (2024).
