What size TV should I buy?
- 32 inch for a bedroom or a small hall, viewed from about 1.5 metres.
- 43 inch for most living rooms in Ghanaian flats.
- 55 inch and above if you sit 2.5 metres or more away, or want it for football and gaming.
Smart TV, satellite TV or "digital" TV: what is the difference?
A smart TV connects to WiFi for YouTube, Netflix and Showmax. A satellite TV has a built-in free-to-air satellite receiver, so with a dish you get free channels without a decoder. Many TVs in Ghana do both. If you pay for DStv or GOtv, you still need their decoder.
How much is a PS5 in Ghana?
Search PlayStation 5, PS5 Pro or Nintendo Switch 2 on price check. It filters out controllers and games, so you see the console price itself.
How do I avoid TV and console scams?
Christmas and Black Friday bring "factory price" TVs on Instagram and WhatsApp that need a full MoMo payment before delivery. If the price is far below every shop on price check, ask why. Read Black Friday deals and scams in Ghana and check the seller's number on TrustCheck before you pay.
