Short answer: since February 2026 government workers get their payslips from the Controller and Accountant-General's Department (CAGD) portal at gogepayservices.com, which replaced the old gogpayslip.com. Several websites with almost the same name (gogepaysslip.com, gogepayservice.com, gogepayslipgh.com) are unofficial guide sites. Only type your employee number, Ghana Card number and password into the real one.
Which e-payslip website is the real one?
| Address | What it is |
|---|---|
| gogepayservices.com | The CAGD Employee Pay Services portal announced in February 2026. Use this one. |
| gogpayslip.com | The old payslip site. It now forwards to an employee registration page (employee.gogtprs.com). |
| gogepaysslip.com (two "s") | An unofficial guide site with a similar name. |
| gogepayservice.com (no "s" at the end) | An unofficial guide site. It says on the page that it is not affiliated with CAGD or the Government of Ghana. |
| gogepayslipgh.com | An unofficial guide site. It says it is not affiliated with the Government of Ghana. |
When we checked on 25 October 2026, none of the lookalike sites asked for a password. They are articles that rank on Google for "epayslip". The risk is that you click one by mistake, follow a link from it, or a future copy does ask for your details. Type gogepayservices.com yourself and check the spelling before you log in.
How do I register on the new e-payslip portal?
CAGD's process, as reported when the portal launched in February 2026:
- Go to gogepayservices.com and choose Forgot Password (this is how first-time users register).
- Enter your employee number.
- Enter your Ghana Card number for verification.
- Confirm your email address and add your phone number. The phone number is required.
- Enter the one-time code (OTP) sent to your phone.
- Create a new password and set a security question. Keep the answer private.
- Check the summary, tick the confirmation box and click Register.
After logging in, open the Payslip menu, choose the month and year, and download the PDF.
Who can help if I cannot log in?
CAGD published these helpline numbers with the new system: 0302 354 795, 0303 547 951, 0247 360 841, 0245 211 977 and 0246 963 301. You can also ask your organisation's payroll or accounts officer.
What scams target government workers' payslips?
- "Payslip upgrade" messages on WhatsApp asking you to "update your details" through a link. CAGD's portal does not need anyone to collect your details for you.
- Agents who offer to register you for a fee and ask for your Ghana Card number, password or OTP. Your OTP is for you alone.
- Loan offers from strangers that say they are "approved by CAGD" and want an upfront processing fee sent by MoMo. Use only lenders you can verify, and never pay a fee to a person before a loan. Read loan app scams in Ghana and check the lender on TrustCheck licence check.
