Trust Check or TrustCheck Club? Which One Charged You, and What to Do

Trust Check or TrustCheck Club? Which One Charged You, and What to Do

Short answer: there are two different websites with almost the same name. TrustCheckApp.com (this site) is a free review and scam-check site for Ghana that never charges subscriptions. trustcheck.club ("TrustCheck Club") is a different company that sells phone-lookup reports and subscriptions. If a "trust check" or "TrustCheck" charge is on your card, it is almost certainly trustcheck.club, and our guide shows how to cancel it and get your money back.

trustcheck.club is not TrustCheckApp.com. We are a free Ghana trust-check site with no connection to trustcheck.club, sub1.trustcheck.club or trustcheckai.app, and we cannot cancel or refund their charges. Do not trust anyone who calls you as "TrustCheck support". How to cancel and get your money back.

Which "trust check" do you mean?

  • You see a charge on your card, bank or PayPal statement, often after a $1 "trial" or a one-off phone lookup: that is trustcheck.club. We have no connection to it and cannot see, cancel or refund its accounts. Go to how to cancel a TrustCheck Club subscription.
  • You want to log in to "Trust Check" to manage or cancel a subscription: the TrustCheck Club login is on trustcheck.club, not here. Accounts on TrustCheckApp.com are free accounts for people in Ghana who write reviews.
  • You want to check a business, phone number or website in Ghana before paying: you are in the right place. Start a free check.

Charged by trustcheck.club? What to do now

  1. Find the charge. On your statement, note the exact merchant name, every amount and the dates.
  2. Cancel on trustcheck.club if you can and screenshot the confirmation. Many customers report there is no working cancel option, so do not stop there.
  3. Call your bank or card issuer. Ask them to block future payments to that merchant, or ask for a replacement card. On PayPal, cancel the automatic payment in your settings.
  4. Ask for your money back by disputing the charges with your bank, card issuer or PayPal as unauthorised recurring payments. Do it quickly: card disputes have time limits.

The full steps, including what to say to your bank, are in our TrustCheck Club cancel and refund guide. If you just want the charges to stop, see how to unsubscribe from TrustCheck Club. If you do not recognise the charge at all, read unknown trustcheck.club charge on your statement.

Is trustcheck.club the same company as TrustCheckApp.com?

No. We are TrustCheck (TrustCheckApp.com), a free platform where people in Ghana read and write reviews of businesses, check phone numbers and check whether a company is licensed before paying. Our only website is trustcheckapp.com. We do not sell reports, trials or subscriptions to anyone. More detail: is trustcheck.club the same as TrustCheck?

Watch out for fake "TrustCheck support"

People who were overcharged are often contacted again by scammers who say they are "TrustCheck support" and offer a refund. They then ask for your card number, a one-time code or remote access to your computer. TrustCheckApp.com will never contact you about a subscription or refund, never ask for card details or codes, and never ask you to install anything. Only your bank or PayPal can safely reverse a card payment. Read how the fake refund calls work.
