1) Who these terms are for
These terms apply to business owners, staff, and agents using TrustCheck business features.
2) Eligibility and authority
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must have permission to act for the business.
- You must keep business information accurate and current.
3) Allowed and prohibited behavior
Allowed
- Claim your profile and keep details up to date.
- Reply to reviews politely with facts and resolution steps.
- Invite genuine customers to leave honest reviews.
Not allowed
- Buying reviews or offering rewards for positive reviews.
- Posting fake reviews about your own business or competitors.
- Threatening customers to remove or change reviews.
- Using legal intimidation without valid legal grounds.
- Using multiple accounts to influence ratings.
4) Invitations and customer data
If you invite customers to review, you must have legal permission to contact them and must follow applicable data protection and marketing rules.
5) Plans, billing, and renewal
- Free plan: basic profile access and basic controls.
- Paid plans: features and limits depend on your purchased plan.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled on time.
- Fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
6) Account security
You are responsible for all activity under your business account, including team members with access. Use strong passwords and remove access when staff leave.
7) Content and intellectual property
You keep ownership of your business name, logo, and brand assets. You grant TrustCheck permission to display those assets on the platform to operate your profile.
8) Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, manipulation, abuse, payment failure, or serious policy violations. You may close your account subject to your active plan terms.
9) Service disclaimer and liability
TrustCheck business services are provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
10) Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Disputes are handled in the courts of Ghana unless the law says otherwise.
11) Updates and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use means acceptance of the latest version. For support, contact TrustCheck through official support channels.
