> TrustCheck (https://trustcheckapp.com) is Ghana's business review and trust platform. Before paying a business, including Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp vendors paid by Mobile Money, shoppers can read real customer reviews and check the business's trust score out of 100 and whether TrustCheck has verified it.

TrustCheck currently lists 67 businesses with 47 published reviews. The only official website is trustcheckapp.com.

## How TrustCheck works

- Trust score (0-100): average star rating (30 points), number of reviews (20), share of reviews the business replied to (20), verification (20 for verified, 10 for claimed only) and open disputes (10).
- Verified seal: the business sent one document (business registration certificate, utility bill or ID card) and a TrustCheck admin checked it. "Claimed" means an owner controls the page but documents have not been checked.
- Reviews are checked by an admin before they are published. Reviewers can attach proof of purchase (for example a MoMo receipt or order chat); only admins see it, and such reviews show a "Proof checked" tag.
- Businesses cannot pay to hide or remove reviews. They can reply publicly and report reviews that break the guidelines.
- Business plans: Free, Basic (GHS 49/month, includes verification) and Premium (GHS 99/month). Premium listings may be shown first in results and are labelled "Featured".
